Kristi has spent the past 10 years teaching throughout the tristate area both in person and virtually. She has honed in on her unique teaching style through numerous certifications and work both inside the studio as an educator and as a performing artist herself. Her classrooms are high energy, encouraging, safe spaces for students to learn and grow as artists.

Kristi’s acro classes utilize strength and technique to facilitate a fusion between acrobatics and dance. Classes include drills to improve tumbling and limbering skills allowing students to excel on and off the mat. As well as engage in improvisational exercises and choreographic practices to prepare them for seamless transitions between acrobatic skills and choreography in various genres. She strives to make her classroom accessible and challenging to all levels and abilities, an environment in which the students understand their body which results in a smarter more capable dancer.

Conditioning classes utilize various props such as Thera bands, resistance bands, yoga blocks, pilates balls, sliders, and weights to create a combination of yoga, cross training and technique training. Kristi strives to incorporate recovery techniques to help increase students preparedness in and outside the classroom.

In addition Kristi offers classes in:

Hip hop choreography incorporating the history of the culture, with an emphasis on foundations sharing her knowledge of popping, waving, and groves. 

Contemporary fusion, a blend of contemporary and street style techniques.

Improvisation where students are lead through variety of prompts, and techniques to encourage their personal style while working with different genres of music and different styles of dance. 

Heels geared towards students ages16+ students will learn basic elements and technique of dancing in a heel as well as choreography
